    You will need the below detail to complete your application: 

    • Equine(s) must be in the correct ownership.
    • Equine(s) passport
    • Veterinary Details 
    • Only the registered owner of the equine in question will be paid at the end of the scheme.
    • Evidence of an active Equine Operator Profile in the ROI or EEN in NI.
      Applications which do not have evidence of either of these will be rejected.
    • If applying on behalf of someone your email will be the designated contact point
    • If applying on behalf of someone you will require signed declaration from the equine registered owner that you are applying and acting on their behalf for the purposes of this scheme

    PLEASE NOTE: To ensure that schemes operate on a first come first term basis; applications where the above is not in order cannot be approved. Should the applicant update their/horse’s details thereafter, a new application will need to be submitted.

    In 2026, Horse Sport Ireland will pay 70% of the cost the X-Ray Screening to the veterinary clinic. Successful applicants who have been accepted onto the scheme will be required to pay the remaining 30%

  • By signing this form, I declare that:

    • I understand and agree to the terms and conditions of this scheme in their totality
    • I provide my informed consent to participate in this scheme
    • I understand HSI retain ownership of all images taken under this scheme
    • I understand and provide consent for my equines’ anonymised data to be used for research purposes, including but not limited to scientific publication
    • I understand that HSI will publish a list of awardees (forename, surname, county and mare name) on the HSI website
    • I understand that drawdown of funding is subject to the completion of scheme feedback.
    1. The foregoing particulars are true and accurate in every respect. In the event of any particulars becoming inaccurate updated particulars must be furnished immediately in writing to Horse Sport Ireland (“HSI”).

    2. I am not aware of any matter or circumstance which might affect or be relevant to the application of the above-named mare(s) to this Scheme which I have not disclosed in writing to HSI.

    3. I agree to indemnify HSI on demand in full against any loss, claim or damage arising in the event of any breach of the foregoing warranties or any of them.

      I hereby confirm, agree and acknowledge as follows:

      HSI are hereby irrevocably authorised to publish the results of this application for the above-named mare(s) and any other information furnished above or pursuant to this application, without being under any obligation to do so.

      I have read the “Terms and Conditions of the X-Ray Screening Scheme 2023” and I agree to accept and abide by them and any amendments that may be made by HSI thereto from time to time.

      In the case of multiple owners, each of the above warranties representations and agreements are deemed to be made by or on behalf of each owner on a joint and several basis.
