The Breeding Grant offers support for breeding and production initiatives, classes and competitions at various equestrian shows and events. The aim of the Breeding grant initiative is to provide a pathway for breeding and production groups, societies and show associations to apply for funding for classes, production events and young horse bursaries designed to aid in the production of young horses through correct training and on good surfaces. This initiative also acts to showcase, incentivise, and reward breeders and their decision making during the breeding season.

NB: This fund cannot support Grand prix Show Jumping events and sport (non-production) focused classes.

Funding under the Breeding Grant Initiative does not offer the provision of HSI rosettes or rugs.The organisation must include in their competition rules, to competitors, that the show is prescribed to the HSI National Equine Anti-Doping Rules and that through competition entry competitors agree to any associated testing and to abide by same. This is a condition of funding.I understand if the required documentation is not supplied by the closing date, my application is not eligible and will not be scored.I understand that if I am successful, we must provide all detail outlined in the show report results template. I understand the responsibility remains with the show to have sufficient GDPR policies in place for completion of same.I understand the funded applicant is responsible for reporting of correct results for prize payment.
