FEI 2025 - Recognition Card
IS AN FEI RECOGNITION CARD NECESSARY?

An FEI Recognition Card is required for all FEI competitions with the exception of horses competing in the country they are based in (in this case Ireland) up to CSI2*/CDI2*/CCI3*(S&L)/CEI2* and CPEID2*.

Participation at any FEI competition in a country other than where the horse is based, an FEI recognition card is needed.

Please note that a Recognition Card is valid for 4 years so please confirm that you require one for 2025 before proceeding.

For some applications you will be required to send your equine's National Passport but for all we will need to get you your Recognition Card. There is a fee for returning any documents by Registered Post. You also have the option to collect from HSI Offices free of charge.
